EXPANSION 1: UNDERGROUND
Please note that you must own the Underground DLC to gain access to this content. This is available on June 28 for Xbox One and PC, and August 2 for PlayStation 4.
Underground
There is a secret war going on in the uncharted and claustrophobic depths of Manhattan. Root out the threat and earn unique rewards.
Explore the Underground of New York in solo play or up to four player co-op.
Operations: Experience randomly generated levels with all new environmental hazards and traps.
Directives: Add a unique twist to your gameplay experience by changing the rules of engagement for both your enemies and your own team and combine more Directives to unlock better rewards.
Underground Rank: Earn Underground experience and climb in Rank to unlock new Directives, Operation types, and exclusive Vanity Items.
New Incursion: Dragon's Nest
Travel to Hell's Kitchen and investigate rumors of a new Cleaner weapon that can wreak havoc throughout Manhattan.
You must be level 30 and have completed the mission "General Assembly" to access the incursion.
The encounter is balanced for a team of four players outfitted with high-level gear.
Heroic Mode will be available one week after release.
New Gear Sets and Weapons
Added four new Gear Sets:
B.L.I.N.D. – Control the battlefield with an improved Pulse skill and flashbangs with this hybrid gear set.
DeadEYE – Dictate long-range engagements with powerful critical strikes or accurate headshots.
FireCrest – Set your enemies ablaze with this offensive gear set.
Reclaimer – Boost your entire group with the ultimate support set.
Added one new Weapon:B.L.I.N.D. System MDR Rifle: Please note that while it will be implemented in the game, you will not be able to acquire it until a future update.

Available for the Main Missions: Refugee Camp, Queen's Tunnel Camp, Russian Consulate, Lincoln Tunnel Checkpoint, Lexington Event Center, and WarrenGate Power Plant.
Available for the Incursions: Falcon Lost, Clear Sky, and Dragon's Nest. Please note that Dragon's Nest Heroic Mode will be made available the week after release for Underground owners.
Daily Missions do not support the Heroic difficulty.
Base of Operations Extension
The Terminal is a new shared social space inside the Base of Operations.
The Terminal can be found in the back of the base, next to the Reward Claim Vendor.
Visit High-Value Target contractors and all new Vendors.
The Special Equipment Vendor has been split into two vendors within the Terminal, Items Vendor and Blueprint Vendor.
Players can also Fast Travel directly to The Terminal.
Weapon Recalibration
You can now recalibrate one of your Weapon Talents at the recalibration bench.
Recalibrating a weapon talent requires Weapon Kits and Phoenix Credits. Weapon Kits can be acquired through drops in the game or crafted.
GAME CHANGES
Gameplay
Added a new Dark Zone bracket for 231+ Gear Score.
Player stash size has been increased to 70 total slots (including Base of Operation upgrades).
Level 30 players will now only encounter level 30 or higher enemy NPCs in Free Roam.
Rebalanced NPC's weak points to be more consistent across the board. This impacts the amount of damage needed to trigger them and the amount of damage it does when triggered.
You can now convert three High-End Division Tech to one of any High-End crafting material.
Reduced the Phoenix Credit costs of 204 High-End and 240 Gear Set items and blueprints.
The Special Equipment Vendor in the Tech Wing only sells items now and will no longer sell Blueprints. Blueprints have been moved to a new vendor in The Terminal.
You can no longer share an item that you have equipped.
Adjustments have been made to NPC threat lists that caused players to stay in combat for large periods of time. You will now leave combat after reaching a certain distance away from the enemy or after a set amount of time.
Players will now be disconnected from the game server if they are inactive for 15 minutes or longer.
Players can now matchmake from inside no-respawn areas and can fast travel into activities while the group is in a no-respawn area.
You can no longer kick a group member in a boss fight and up to one minute after it has been completed. This restriction does not apply to group members who are AFK or outside the mission area.
All players must now be present in the final Circle in Clear Sky before you can interact with the laptop and fuses.
NPCs located in the final Circle in Clear Sky will instantly respawn once killed until players enter the area.
Players can no longer deploy Mobile Cover skill while they are performing a Cover-to-Cover move.
Exotic Damage Resilience is now capped at 90%.
Weapons
These changes only impact weapons acquired after Update 1.3 unless stated otherwise.
Added unique bonuses to several weapon families:LMG – Increased damage to targets out of cover by X%.
Shotguns – Added a chance to stagger NPCs. This will not affect other players.
Assault Rifles – Added an enemy armor damage bonus. This does not impact damage done to other players.
Changed the weapon bonus on SMGs from a % crit hit chance to % crit hit damage.
Increased the base damage of Shotguns.
Decreased the damage done by the AUG and Vector. This impacts all new and existing ones.
Increased the minimum accuracy cap on the M1A. When shooting consistently, the crosshair will grow to a much larger size than it previously did. This impacts all new and existing M1As.
The damage done by Explosive bullets has been reduced.
The status effect of Incendiary bullets has been reduced against other players.
Items
Every gear piece now has a set number of mod slots that can't be recalibrated. This change only affects gear that drops after Update 1.3. Each gear piece will now have:Chest: 2 mod slots
Mask: 1 mod slot
Kneepad: 1 mod slot
Backpack: 1 mod slot
Gloves : 0 mod slots
Holster: 0 mod slots
Holsters will now always have all three attributes.
Sentry's Call and Striker's Battlegear gear sets have had their two-set and three-set bonus reduced, and we have added a new five-set bonus. The four-set bonuses have not been changed.Sentry's Call bonuses were:2 Set: +30% Headshot Damage

Dark Zone
The 231+ Gear Score Dark Zone bracket will include more powerful NPCs.

DZ 05-06 in Gear Score bracket 201-230 will now have a chance to drop Gear Score 229 High Ends and 268 Gear Sets.
Dark Zone chests now scale better with the Gear Score bracket and the named zone you are in.
Loot Changes
The High-Risk High-Value Targets have had their rewards and difficulty adjusted to take into account the Gear Score increase.
Normalized loot drops from Main Missions in Challenge mode.
Caduceus can now drop from Hard Mode Mission bosses.
Normal mode Missions now drop Superior items.
Green Division Tech will no longer drop in the Dark Zone after level 30.
UI
Added a base weapon damage value that makes it easier to compare weapons.
Gear mods and weapon mods are now combined in the same inventory display.
Added a new inventory slot for Misc.
Improved the visibility of Supply Drops on the Mega Map.
BUG FIXES
Fixed a bug where the Predator 4-set bleed effect would not trigger the Shrapnel player talent.
Fixed a bug where a player using a med-kit while having the combat medic talent equipped would result in destroying allied skills proxy.
Fixed a bug where using a med-kit while having the combat medic talent equipped would heal the player using it for 40% more health instead of just their allies.
Fixed a bug where EMP grenades would not always trigger the Final Measure four-set defuse effect.
Fixed a bug where the Operation ISAC timer was showing the incorrect time.
Predatory weapon talent now correctly uses the player's Health as the base of the healing amount, instead of the target's Health.
Fixed a bug where the Survivor Link Signature Skill would increase the movement speed while moving backwards and carrying an item.
Fixed a bug where the Ballistic Shield would lose its hitbox after the player performed a roll move.
Fixed a bug where the Ballistic Shield would become invincible after opening and closing the inventory.
Fixed a bug where Pulse would sometimes not detect NPCs in range.
Fixed a bug that caused loot containers to sometimes not be detected by Pulse when using the Recon Pack modification.
Fixed a bug that allowed players to go through objects by deploying the Mobile Cover at the top of stairs.
Fixed a bug where NPC skirmishes could start while a Supply Drop event was underway in that same location.
Fixed Supply Drop notifications and mission tracker inconsistencies.
Fixed a bug that allowed Explosive Bullets to sometimes damage players behind cover.
Fixed a bug where sometimes the damage shown by the weapon blueprint is higher than the actual damage of the crafted weapon.
Fixed a bug where sending a group invite to a player from the suggested list would make that player visible on the megamap in the Dark Zone.
Fixed VoIP chat causing lag and freezes in the Dark Zone.
Fixed a bug where surplus Division Tech rewarded in Sealed Caches would not drop to the ground if the player had reached Division Tech resource limit in their pouches.
Fixed a bug where sometimes players could not pick up currency drops from enemy NPCs.
Fixed a bug where the Rogue icon would stay on the map after the Rogue player was eliminated.
Fixed a bug where players could use the Ballistic Shield skill to break the collision with the Dark Zone Checkpoint doors and enter the Checkpoint while Rogue.
Fixed a bug where players would be teleported out of an electronics shop inside Clinton map area.
Fixed a bug where the player could exit the playable map area in Napalm Production Site mission.
Fixed a bug in Napalm Production Site where sometimes the first objective would not complete if players killed the NPCs and Napalm tank with a single Sticky Bomb.
Fixed an FPS issue during the explosion sequence in Napalm Production Site.
Fixed a bug where players would be considered outside the playable map area and teleported out in DZ06.
Fixed a bug where sometimes players would take damage when climbing a ladder in DZ01.
Fixed several character collision issues in Precinct Siege mission in Brooklyn.
Fixed a bug where the Critical Search and Destroy mission icon would not display on the Megamap.
Fixed a bug where High Value Target NPCs could shoot through walls in Flatiron District.
Fixed a bug where the High-Value Target mission in Hell's Kitchen would sometimes lock loot behind a door.
Fixed a rare bug where a group of Level 1 NPCs would spawn in DZ04.
Fixed a bug where sometimes the Deconstruction UI pop-up would overlap the Crafting Table menu.
Fixed a bug where you could recalibrate an attribute to a value outside of what was displayed in the UI.
Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause numbers to be rounded incorrectly.
Fixed a bug where sometimes reloading wouldn't take extended magazines into consideration.
Fixed a bug where ending reload animations would not play.
Fixed a bug where the player would be stuck in the blind fire position for too long.
Fixed a bug where player would see the fall damage warning on non-movement interactions.
Fixed the color of vanity loot drops when viewed in the game world from afar.
Fixed some audio propagation bugs for Fragmentation Grenade and player gunshots while in the Dark Zone.
Fixed several subtitle localization issues for interactions with JTF patrols.
Fixed a bug where friends were not visible on the megamap when not grouped.
Fixed a rare issue where the mission UI would disappear following a mission failure.
Minor text corrections for a few items in the in-game store.
Fixed a bug where the Moon was upside down.
PC SPECIFIC
Improvements to consumable and grenade selection wheel navigation.
Added new key binding options for instant skill use (self-cast).
Player kills are now announced in local chat, including the player usernames.
Increased size of ignore list for chat and old entries are now pushed off the end of the list (removed).
Fixed the UI notifications for the High-Value Target vendor.
Fixed a bug where the mouse wheel would not scroll the Gear Mod inventory screen.
Fixed a bug where the scrollbar would not return to the top of the pane when players changed blueprint selections in any vendor inventory screen.
Tobii eye-tracking: Separated Aim-At-Gaze and Cover-At-Gaze options.

Here is the list of changes that will be implemented with the update 1.2:
NEW FEATURES
New Incursion: Clear Sky
Clear Sky is a new Incursion mission available in Columbus Circle.
You must be level 30.
The encounter is balanced for a team of 4 players outfitted with high level gear.
Hard Mode is available on May 24 when the update is released.
Challenge Mode will be made available the week after update 1.2 launches.
New Gear Sets
Four new gear sets have been added.
Final Measure
Stand your ground by defusing hostile grenades with this powerful defensive set.
2 pieces: +50% Exotic Damage Resilience
3 pieces: +15% Protection from Elites
4 pieces: When throwing a grenade, gain the defuse buff. When in range of a hostile grenade, the buff is consumed and defuses the grenade as well as gives you a grenade.
Hunter's Faith
Duel your enemies at range and come out on top with this survival focused marksman set.
2 pieces: +20% Marksman Rifle Critical Hit Damage
3 pieces: +20% Damage to elites
4 pieces: Hitting an enemy with a bullet grants you temporary armor. The further your shot, the more armor is awarded. The armor disappears after one bullet hits you.
Lone Star
Never reload your weapons again with this game changing utility set.
2 pieces: +100% Ammo capacity
3 pieces: +1000 LMG Damage, +1000 Shotgun Damage
4 pieces: When the weapon is holstered, it regains full ammo.
Predator's Mark
Make your enemies bleed with this powerful offensive set.
2 pieces: +20% Optimal Range
3 pieces: +800 Assault Rifle damage, +700 Pistol Damage
4 pieces: Hit 10 shots without switching target to make the target bleed for 100% of damage already done by those bullets.
High-Value Targets & Search and Destroy missions
At level 30, complete all Encounters and Side Missions in a named area to get access to the “Search and Destroy” missions in the Safe House.
Receive Target Intel as a reward for completing Search and Destroy missions.
Bring Target Intel to HVT officers at the Base of Operations to locate High Value Targets.
Complete daily and weekly High Value Target missions for end game rewards.
Hijack Extractions
When a player attaches a bag to the extraction rope, another player now has the ability to sever the rope.
Severing the rope will cause all extraction bags to fall to the ground, scattering their contents as a public loot drop.
Be careful, hijacking an extraction will instantly mark you as Rogue!
Sealed Cache
Named and Elite enemies in the Dark Zone can now drop Sealed Caches that contain mystery items.
Sealed Caches need to be extracted before they can be opened, just like regular loot drops.
There are four qualities of Sealed Cache:
Specialized
Superior
High End
Gear Set.
Player Stash in Dark Zone Checkpoints
Player stashes are now available in every Dark Zone checkpoint.
Checkpoints stashes eliminate the need for fast travel to your Base of Operations to collect your extracted loot!
ISAC Assignments
The ISAC Assignment is a new assignment type included in the map overview.
The ISAC Assignment will be available to players at level 30.
Every week a new ISAC Assignment will be available to the player.
The ISAC Assignment will reward players with exclusive vanity items.
General
The Historian high-end marksman rifle is now available.
Added a 201+ Gear Score bracket for highly leveled players.
Added new high-end named weapons in the game:
Hungry Hog: M60 Light Machinegun
Centurion: M1911 Pistol
Medved: SAIGA12 Shotgun
Historian: M1A Marksman Rifle
(Showstopper - AA12 Shotgun): Please note that while the Showstopper will be implemented in the game with this update, it will not be acquirable in-game until update 1.3
Game Changes
Gameplay
When a player is at max level, matchmaking for Hard and Challenge mode will now only seek players that are Level 30.
Armor damage mitigation cap has been increased to 75%.
Improved weapon blind fire and overall handling while in cover.
Reduced damages from level 34 NPCs using Shotguns and Sniper rifles.
Gear Score will now only take into account the equipped weapon with the highest Gear Score, and discard the other two. This will prevent players from equipping low quality weapons to voluntarily reduce their Gear Score.
Increased Gear Score requirement of Falcon Lost to better represent its difficulty (note that the difficulty of this Incursion hasn't changed) Hard Mode: Gear Score 160 / Challenge Mode: Gear Score 180
UI
In the Overview of the Inventory, the Health stat above Stamina has been replaced with Toughness. This is a combination of Health and Armor. The player's health pool will still be visible in the Character page and Stamina still increases Health.
The Phoenix credit cap has been increased from 1000 to 2000 credits.
Shooting a player while they are interacting with an object will cause the timer to push back. (such as opening a supply crate or hijacking an extraction)
Players now have a voice chat indicator in the game UI to see if their own VOIP works.
The Special Gear Vendor has been renamed Special Equipment Vendor.
Items
The Sentry's Call 4 pieces talent will now only apply to semi-automatic weapons (pistols, shotguns, and marksman rifles).
The Second bonus on Performance Mods have been significantly improved.
Dark Zone
The extraction departure timer once the helicopter arrived has been increased to 60 seconds.

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where the effects of player talents would stack when the talent was repeatedly equipped and unequipped.
Fixed a bug where the Reckless gear talent would increase player damage resistance instead of decreasing it.
Fixed a bug where the Balanced gear talent would remain active indefinitely after the weapon was shouldered.
Fixed a bug with the Brutal gear talent where the damage was multiplicative instead of additive.
Fixed a bug with the One is None character talent where the weapon could jam when the magazine was down to one bullet.
Fixed a bug with the Specialized gear talent where it wouldn't account for subsequent gear changes after the backpack was equipped.
Fixed a bug with the Path of the Nomad talent where the Health on Kill wouldn't work if the kill was done with a melee attack.
Fixed a bug with the Tactician's Authority talent where it wouldn't trigger properly against other Players.
Fixed a bug where talents that are triggered by skills could be activated by just aiming the skill instead of using it.
Fixed a bug where bleed resistance could roll above 100% on some items.
Fixed a bug where players could exit the playable map area by using the mobile cover skill.
Fixed an issue where some doors at the entrance of main missions would not open after restarting the mission.
Fixed a bug where one of the Base of Operation wings would not unlock after completing Subway Morgue or Lincoln Tunnel missions.
Fixed a bug where players would not be able to upgrade their Base of Operation wings correctly.
Fixed a bug where the Small RDS Scope Mod would not roll weapon damage bonus, even though it was stated in the blueprint as a guaranteed stat.
Fixed a bug where the Base of Operations NPC speech was too repetitive.
Fixed an issue where the Base of Operations wing resources would not be displayed correctly if at least one of the wings was not activated (laptop not accessed).
Players will no longer be teleported to an incorrect checkpoint during the “Rescue: Tenderloin Civilians” side mission.
Fixed a bug where using a consumable would not allow the player to aim until the animation finished.
Fixed some visual replication problems when swapping weapons while in the Dark Zone checkpoints.
Player characters will now properly holster their weapons when climbing over high cover.
Improved UI tooltips for trading between players.
Fixed an instance where players would be teleported back to the Safe House during the “Hostage Rescue: Midtown East” medical encounter.
Fixed a bug where players would be teleported to last checkpoint in Hudson Refugee Camp.
Fixed an issue where players could not matchmake for Free Roam from the mega map, while in Brooklyn.
Fixed a bug where the Ballistic Shield visual would become corrupted if the player changed shoulder view while using it.
Fixed a bug where the defense turrets in Falcon Lost would be able to shoot players through covers from a medium-long range.
Fixed some objects in Falcon Lost that would not provide tactical cover.
Fixed a number of tooltips not displaying correctly in Arabic localization.

Crafting will now properly update blueprint stats if the player has switched their Firearms values while in the Base of Operations.
Players can no longer phase transfer to a group member's higher Dark Zone bracket while having Rogue status.
Fixed a bug where automatching would return the wrong difficulty for missions when failing to find a match.
Fixed a bug where the player's own character could obstruct aiming while in cover.

Fixed a bug where auto-aim would be automatically triggered on PC.
Min and Max mouse sensitivity values are now exposed in state.cfg file.
Added an option in the game UI that disables all Gamepad input.
Added the option to sort inventory items by Gear Score (PC only).
Added the option to toggle aim mode instead of holding to aim.
Players can now right-click on gear in the Overview screen to get straight to the mod screen.
Players can now rebind the ALT key.
Players can now exit the game from the title screen.
Fixed a bug where the game UI would not center correctly when dual screen is enabled.
Fixed scrolling in Mission Overview in the mega map.
Fixed an issue where scrolling through possible recalibrations was not always possible using the mouse.
Fixed an issue where the wrong recalibration option could be selected at the Recalibration Station.
Fixed a bug where some users could loot items from a distance using the mouse cursor.
Snap to Marker feature is now smoother while using a keyboard.

Trading
Items dropped by enemies can be shared with other players
Trade items by dropping them as loot from your inventory, so players in your group can pick them up
You can only share items for during the first 2 hours after you have acquired them
Items can only be shared with players who are currently in your group and who were also in your group when the item was originally dropped
Assignments
Assignments are automatically obtained when you log in and can be tracked from the map via the menu called “Mission Overview”
Assignments are available for a limited time (24h for Daily Assignments and 7 days for Weekly Assignments), after which, they will be replaced by different assignments

Most assignments can be completed while playing alone but some will require enlisting other agent's assistance to complete
Dark Zone Supply Drops
Dark Zone Supply Drops are a global event where the Strategic Homeland Defense agency airdrops multiple supply caches to assist Division agents
Supply drops will occur multiple times over the course the day
The supply drops will contain non-contaminated gear of all types that will be ready to use without the need for extraction
These supply drops will be heavily sought after by other agents and enemy factions that roam the Dark Zone, so be ready for resistance
Gear Score
Every non-vanity gear piece that can be found when your agent is level 30 has a Gear Score value. The higher an item's Gear Score, the stronger the item
The overall Gear Score of your agent can be seen in your main menu next to your player level. Gear Score indicates the advancement of an agent
Other agents' Gear Scores are displayed next to their health bars
Improving your gear and increasing your overall Gear Score will grant your agent access to the most dangerous high-end challenges
Group Spectator Camera
The Group Spectator Cam lets players spectate members of their group while waiting to be revived or the entire group to be down
Players can use RB/LB, R1/L1 or Q/E keys to switch between group members

Gameplay
Turret skill can no longer suppress enemy NPCs, as this allowed named NPCs to be defeated too easily
Recalibrating High-End items will now cost normal Credits instead of Phoenix Credits
Phoenix Credits drop have been increased on lvl 31 and 32 named enemies:Level 30: 1-3 Phoenix Credits

Dark Zone
The vendor in the Church Safe House will now sell items in Dark Zone Funds instead of Phoenix Credits

Patch 1.02 - March 22, 2016
GAMEPLAY
- Named enemies. will now drop better loot in Challenge mode than in Hard mode.
- Added a cooldown period for the Static Turret stun attack in order to avoid a stunlock in PvP and PvE game modes.
- Named NPCs will no longer respawn after being killed in the Open World. This will prevent situations where players were able to kill a same named NPC over and over again.
- Modifications to the weapon talent: Trained.
- It can now only be rolled on Shotgun, Marksman rifles and Pistols
- Its bonus has been reduced from 1%-5% to a constant 0.1%
- For the Midas SMGs, Trained Talent has been replaced with Responsive Talent which increases damage when getting closer to the target. This applies to existing weapons as well as newly acquired ones
- For all SMGs, LMGs, and Assault Rifles, it will be replaced with another randomly picked weapon talent. This applies to existing weapons as well as newly acquired ones
- Fixed a speed run exploit for the Rooftop Comm Relay mission
- Fixed an issue where weapons dealt no damage if the reload animation was interrupted by an agent's skill
- Fixed an issue where players became stuck in an emote animation if activated via chat while auto running
- Fixed a bug where skill power would be increased permanently while using the Death by Proxy talent

DARK ZONE
- Players can now heal other neutral players in the Dark zone, by using First Aid and Support Station skills
- Players are now able to fast travel to Dark Zone checkpoints, but only when coming from outside the Dark Zone
- The Dark Zone disconnect timer has been increased to 30 seconds, meaning players will remain in the game world longer when logging out while in the Dark Zone (this applies while not in combat)
- Items extracted from the Dark Zone are now properly marked as "new" items when moved to the players inventory
- Players killed in the Dark Zone now drop ammo, medkits and grenades. This loot is generated and not taken from the dying players' inventory
- Players killed in the Dark Zone will lose less Dark Zone Funds and Experience (Rogue and non-Rogue)
- Dark Zone Funds and Experience rewards for surviving Rogue status have been improved
- Dark Zone Funds and Experience rewards for killing Rogue agents have been improved
- Phoenix Credits drop have been increased on lvl 31 and 32 enemies in the Dark Zone: (Due to stability issues, will be addressed in the next update)
